Sade - The Sweetest Taboo 12" (last copy)

This is a brand new, unplayed copy of the 2006 repress of Sade's single for "The Sweetest Taboo", which cuts an extended version of the track (5:30 as opposed to the album cut at 4:37) on a 33 1/3 rpm 12". If you might not be familiar with this track, it's one of the group's best and has been an inspiration and jumping-off point for other artists as well: Rebles soca transformation released on Soundway and Patra's ragga détournement "Goin' 2 the Chapel" among the best. (Those two make Hype Williams' tribute feel limpid by comparison.)

The A-side is here backed with album cut "You're Not the Man" and both tracks benefit from the added depth and dimension that their 12" presentation provides. If a record is even listed on our websighte it is already recommended, but this is a super double ultra prime recommendation!
