Thomas Cox - Time Dilation 12"

Pittsburgh in the house ! Following his sold-out 2020 debut release 9371 on his own Q.E.D. imprint, Pittsburgh DJ and producer Thomas Cox drops the follow-up. Time Dilation is a modern classic deep house double-sider, pairing the title cut with the flip "Thunderhead", two cuts deep enough for the listener to do some serious spelunking. Cox places us in a time machine back to the 1990s, to the vaunted likes of artists such as Basic Channel, the early 12"s of Theo Parrish or Aril Brikha's Departure in Time. Not to make this sound too heady; the beauty of this 12" is that you can just whack it on the turntable, turn it up and experience a temporary, blissful interlude which continues when you inevitably play it again and again and again.
