Lex Gray - Pearls 7" (artist edition flexi lathe)

The artist edition of Love's Devotee's first release, Lex Gray's cover of Sade's 1992 album track "Pearls". Separate from our black vinyl pressing, this release is a single-sided clear, 7" square, semi-flexi lathe cut disc, limited to 20 hand-numbered copies with alternate artwork, signed by the artist. 

"Pearls" is Gray's take on the Sade classic from their 1992 Love Deluxe album, a particularly heart-rending interpretation that serves as a showcase of the artist's vocal prowess atop a bed of dour electronic keyboard and sparing washes of violin. 

100% of each sale in this edition goes to the artist's royalties. While the economic realities of releasing recorded music remain extremely difficult, the reality is that independent labels need to innovate in the ways they support artists economically.
