Séance Film Festival – Closing Program
Lehigh Valley Cinema Club presents the first Séance Film Festival, a weekend film festival (Friday, July 5 – Sunday, July 7, 2024) celebrating cinema as séance and portal to the afterlife, and the parallels between film projection and reincarnation.
This closing program contains four short films made between 1927 and 2021, will feature a Q&A with filmmaker Daniel Paashaus (Katabasis) and two films with live musical accompaniment by Sarah Schimeneck & Jesse Sparhawk. Curator Herb Shellenberger will introduce the program.
