D. Spaulding is the solo project of Eric Shuster, a musician based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, USA. Jilt Matrimonial Turkey Heartland Desert Classic Jubilee is his debut, an album of softly poetic, lo-fi bedroom folk crafted with quiet concentration and presented as a cassette release by Love’s Devotee. Listeners may find resonates with the elegantly minimal folk of Maxine Funke, the prosaic home recordings of Sibylle Baier or the emotional warmth of Elizabeth Cotton’s guitar ballads. D. Spaulding will perform as a duo with Kyle Page, who drums on the album.

Tara Toms is a songwriter, vocalist, poet, and improviser from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is known for her long-winded, heavily-harmonized love songs, existential euphoria, linear melodies and circular conversations. Tara works with several projects including Weird Year (her folk-adjacent ensemble), Conjure Fog (ambient field recordings) and Open Music (an ensemble presenting works by composers of the 20th and 21st centuries). She will perform solo.

Karson Meckeler's snatched compositions swirl into a deep pool of quizzical, abstract pop, bringing to mind the exploratory music of Reiko Kudo or the more quiet, tuneful works of Jim O'Rourke. Karson performs in Ms. Honey with his sister Kacey and their friend Cory, the latter of whom will join him as a duo for this set.
